About Off by Five
We’re a Super Intelligence (SI) automation agency for small businesses. Our belief is simple: humans do the thinking, robots do the work. Our name is the result: the work handled by robots, and everyone off by five.
Why we exist
Small business owners are hired by their customers for their judgment, skill and care, and SI can now multiply all three. It answers customers instantly, researches, writes, quotes, follows up and reports in seconds. That used to take a big company’s whole operations team. Now a small business can move just as fast.
We build those systems with tools you already use, and we stay on to keep them working, because automation that nobody looks after quietly breaks.
How we work
- Humans do the thinking: strategy, pricing, relationships and judgment stay with people
- Robots do the work: research, drafting, follow-up, data and reporting go to SI
- Outcomes first: every project starts with hours and revenue, not features
- Plain English: no jargon in plans, reports or invoices
- Your accounts, your data, your call
- Small and boring beats clever and fragile
House rules
- Our assistants tell people they’re automated
- No fake reviews or review gating
- Human approval on anything that moves money or makes a binding promise
- Vendors and settings that don’t train SI on your customer data
